Innovadyne Technologies Announces Release of Automated System for HTS
Santa Rosa, CA. Nov. 16, 2004.
Innovadyne Technologies announced today its Nanodrop™ HTS automated dispensing system. The platform is targeted toward the HTS market where it will enable the use of ten times less reagent for assay development and screening applications. A new cleaning system allows users to easily manage routine maintenance. Innovadyne's new Microsoft .NET-based Nanobuilder© software provides an added measure of reliability to the already proven Innovadyne low-volume dispense technology.
The Innovadyne architecture enables a variety of fluid types and wide range of volumes to be dispensed with excellent precision and accuracy. Using non-contact, solenoid-based dispense technology, the Nanodrop HTS system can deliver 100 nanoliters to 1 microliter of reagents to a 1536-well format in under 12 seconds. Easy-to-change fluid harnesses are now available with a variety of nozzle diameters and lengths that allow users to change configurations in minutes. Low dead volume and the patented aspirate-and-dispense design make the instrument ideal for a variety of assays including cell and bead-based applications. The Nanodrop HTS system is available in single plate or 2-plate versions.
Kevin Barrett, Innovadyne’s President states, “The Nanodrop HTS system demonstrates Innovadyne’s continuing commitment to delivering robust application-based platforms that enable our end-users to maximize throughput with the least possible maintenance.”
