The New Nanodrop Express -- Faster is Better!

Innovadyne Technologies introduces the 16-channel Nanodrop™ Express, our fastest benchtop system -- a complete high-throughput solution for low volume, high-precision pipetting. Based on Innovadyne’s ground-breaking Nanodrop fluidics, the Nanodrop Express can perform a 1536-well plate dispense in less than 8 seconds with the complete aspirate/dispense cycle time of 30 seconds. It comes standard with a two-plate stage, and interchangeable 1x16 or 2x8 tip heads specialized for reagent dispensing and sample transfer.

Innovadyne's instruments are unique because they combine the advantages of non-contact solenoid-based technology (high-precision miniaturized assays) with the robustness and flexibility of traditional liquid handlers. Other non-contact liquid handlers use a flow-through design where the reagents pass through the internal path of a solenoid valve, quickly leading to deposits, obstructions, and seal wear. The results? They work fine for a limited time, but within a short time are prone to costly valve replacement, hard-to-diagnose performance deterioration, and instrument downtime.
The Innovadyne design is different -- our flow-regulating solenoids are isolated from the valve-free flow path, and are only exposed to de-ionized water. In addition to dramatically improving robustness, i.e. valve life measured in years, not months, the system design enables repetitive, precise, low-volume dispensing of difficult samples like beads, cells, and highly viscous mixtures...plate after plate, month after month.
