Innovadyne Technologies Secures Sole Commercial License for System for Arraying Biomolecules

Rohnert Park, CA – Innovadyne Technologies, Inc. (Rohnert Park, CA) announced today that it has obtained a worldwide sole commercial license for the Dual Manifold System for Arraying Biomolecules.

Innovadyne Technologies signed a License Agreement for the technology with UT-Battelle, LLC, the contractor engaged by the United States Department of Energy to manage the activities of DOE’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in Oak Ridge, TN.

Researchers at ORNL conceived the Dual Manifold System for Arraying Biomolecules in 1999. Thereafter, Rheodyne, L.P. (Rohnert Park, CA) and ORNL developed the technology under a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement. Rheodyne later assigned its rights under the CRADA to Innovadyne Technologies. Rheodyne spun off Innovadyne Technologies in September of this year, and Innovadyne now operates as an independent company.
